Tata Steel and Andritz have signed a multi-million agreement for the design, supply and commissioning of a new acid recovery plant (ARP) at Port Talbot, Wales.

Kingspan has announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Meranti Green Steel, a Singapore-headquartered company building what is set to be a major green steel plant for Southeast Asia. 

The Hy4Smelt industrial-scale demonstration plant will combine hydrogen-based direct reduction (HYFOR) for ultra-fine iron ores with an electric smelting process
